To advance to the championship game, MacDougall won 7-1 over Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2024 PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada; and won 6-4 over New Brunswick's Zack Eldridge in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada;
MacDougall finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacDougall defeated Eddie MacKenzie (Crapaud, PEI) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-3 against Taylor Ardiel (Halifax, NS). MacDougall responded with a 7-2 win over Steven van Ouwerkerk (Crapaud, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the PEI Brewing Company Cashspiel, MacDougall take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize. For week 16 of the event schedule, MacDougall did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. MacDougall ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
