To advance to the championship game, Kim won 5-2 over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2024 International Bernese Ladies Cup in Bern, Switzerland; and won 6-2 over Moa Dryburgh (Stockholm, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 International Bernese Ladies Cup in Bern, Switzerland;
Kim finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER) 7-6, then went on to lose 6-3 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Kim responded with a 6-3 win over Switzerland's Kathrine Blackham. Kim won 6-4 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE), then won 9-4 against Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the International Bernese Ladies Cup, Kim take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $4,674CDN prize, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Kim ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 235.750 points earned so far this season.
