To advance to the championship game, Retornaz won 7-6 over Brendan Bottcher (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 WFG Masters in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and won 5-1 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 WFG Masters in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
 
Retornaz finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retornaz lost 6-3 to Carruthers, then responded with a 7-5 win over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Retornaz won 6-5 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB), then won 7-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the WFG Masters Championship title, Retornaz earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $38,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 53 after improving upon their best so far this season. Retornaz ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 333.625 points earned so far this season.
