Kim/Jeong finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim/Jeong defeated Lindsay Raftis/Jacob Nogueira (Arthur, ON) 13-2, then won 10-3 against Jessica Shipmaker/Mike Aprile (Mississauga, ON) and 8-5 against Katie Cottrill/Shawn Cottrill (Belgrave, ON).
