Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB) won 5-4 over Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic, held September 15 - 18, 2022 at the Granite Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Wiebe won 6-5 over Corey Chambers (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals
Wiebe finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wiebe defeated Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) 4-2, then won 7-4 against Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) and 6-1 against Riley Smith (Winnipeg, MB). Wiebe won 7-6 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Wiebe earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $1,600CDN first prize cheque. Wiebe move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 19.125 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 25th overall with 103.565 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wiebe ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.125 points earned so far this season.
