Michael Fournier (Toronto, ON) won 8-5 over Sam Steep (KW, ON) in the Final of the KW Fall Classic, held September 22 - 25, 2022 at the K-W Granite Club in Waterloo, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Fournier won 6-4 over Paul Moffatt (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-1 over Brandon Tippin (Bala, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada;
 
Fournier finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fournier defeated Alex Champ (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) 7-2, then won 9-7 against Steep and 7-2 against Mark Kean (Ottawa, ON). Fournier won 8-0 against Colton Daly (Georgetown, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the KW Fall Classic Championship title, Fournier earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $2,600CDN first prize cheque, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 61.534 total points. Fournier ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.500 points earned so far this season.
