To advance to the championship game, Waddell won 4-0 over Paul Moffatt (Kitchener, ON) in the semifinals of the 2021 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-1 over Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2021 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada;
 
Waddell finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Waddell defeated Alex Champ (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON) 8-2, then won 11-3 against Rob Ainsley (Toronto, ON) and 7-3 against Moffatt. Waddell won 9-2 against Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Waddell take home 19.799 world rankings points along with the $1,700CDN prize, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 10th place overall with 152.531 total points. Waddell ranks 9th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.372 points earned so far this season.
