To advance to the championship game, Thompson won 7-3 over Calan MacIssac (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2024 Steele Cup Cash in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 8-0 over Scott Jones (Moncton, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Steele Cup Cash in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;

Thompson finished 2-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thompson defeated Travis Stone (Sydney, NS) 8-0, then went on to lose 4-3 against Jamie Stewart (Fredericton, NB). Thompson responded with a 5-4 win over Rene Comeau (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Steele Cup Cash, Thompson take home 2.750 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 11 of the event schedule, Thompson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Thompson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
