James Grattan (Oromocto , NB) won 7-0 over Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Steele Cup Cash, held October 11 - 13, 2024 at the Capital Winter Curling Club in Fredericton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Grattan won 6-3 over Luke Robichaud (Moncton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2024 Steele Cup Cash in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; and won 6-3 over Jamie Stewart (Fredericton, NB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2024 Steele Cup Cash in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;

Grattan are currently 1-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan defeated New Brunswick's Adam MacDonald 8-3, then went on to lose 8-4 against Calan MacIssac (Halifax, NS). In their next game, Grattan plays.

For winning the Steele Cup Cash Championship title, Grattan earned 3.750 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 11 of the event schedule, Grattan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Grattan ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
