In their opening game, Streifel lost 10-7 to Krysta Hilker (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Tana Martin (Sherwood Park, AB). Streifel went on to lose 6-5 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Streifel responded with a 7-1 win over Ashley Howard (Saskatoon, SK). Streifel won 9-3 against Marla Sherrer (Lacombe, AB) to advance to a C-Qualifier game where they lost 6-4 against Yu Han (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Streifel earned 5.914 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 58th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 87.049 total points. Streifel ranks 79th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 28.146 points earned so far this season.
