Ainsley finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ainsley defeated 's Ian Dickie 7-5, then won 7-4 against Paul Moffatt (Waterloo, ON). Ainsley went on to lose 7-1 against Ferris. Ainsley responded with a 9-6 win over Dave Ellis (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Ainsley take home 16.570 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN prize, moving up 120 spots the World Ranking Standings into 130th place overall with 22.903 total points.
