Gushue won 5-3 against Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI). Gushue went on to lose 6-5 against Mouat in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gushue earned 34.654 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Boost National, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -17.469 after improving upon their best so far this season. Gushue ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 271.983 points earned so far this season.
