To advance to the championship game, Kolomaya won 6-1 over Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2015 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-2 over Andrew Irving (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
Kolomaya finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kolomaya defeated Andrew Wickman (Winnipeg, MB) 5-2, then won 9-5 against Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) and 6-3 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB). Kolomaya went on to lose 6-2 against Dunstone in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the KKP Classic, Kolomaya take home 13.640 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 39th place overall with 60.330 total points.
