Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) lost 7-4 to Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON) in the Final of the Masters of Curling, held October 29 - November 3, 2013 in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Martin finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin lost 7-6 to Liu, then responded with a 6-4 win over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Martin won 7-6 against Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-2 against Tyler George (Duluth, USA) in their final qualifying round match.
