In their opening game, Switzerland's Michele Jaeggi defeated Evita Regza (Riga, LAT) 8-6, then won 7-6 against Jan Betker (Regina, SK) and 7-2 against Denmark's Lene Nielsen. Switzerland's Michele Jaeggi won 8-1 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the International Bernese Ladies Cup Championship title, Switzerland's Michele Jaeggi earned 32.340 world rankings points along with the $6,430CDN first prize cheque, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 21st place overall with 94.280 total points. Switzerland's Michele Jaeggi ranks 15th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 60.990 points earned so far this season.
