Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) won 4-2 over Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Grey Power World Cup of Curling, held November 3 - 7, 2010 in Windsor, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, McEwen won 7-2 over Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB) in the semifinals of the 2010 Grey Power World Cup of Curling in Windsor, Ontario; and won 8-3 over Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Grey Power World Cup of Curling in Windsor, Ontario;
 
McEwen finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McEwen defeated David Murdoch (Lockerbie, SCO) 7-2, then won 8-6 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). McEwen went on to lose 6-5 against Martin. McEwen responded with a 6-3 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON). McEwen went on to lose 6-5 against Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Grey Power World Cup of Curling Championship title, McEwen earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $24,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 248.280 total points. McEwen ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 98.570 points earned so far this season.
