Hey Nelski. Actually it's a real triple KO with 4 qualifiers and a great prize money pool of $12,000.00. Not a practice spiel at all. It's even a good field all things considered, and we guys get to admire a talented ladies spiel of 28 teams.
Merk is disappointed with the lack of entries for the men and could have cancelled. But he chose to run regardless out of respect for those of us who are supporting the event. My squad is very grateful and we hope that next year will see more teams return.

In fact, I have a title in mind:

Just added the Day 2 recap of the Vernon Cash and you should all now see the updates of new entries on the CZ homepage.
Or you can just hit the 'follow' button and get emailed when I make a new post.

Your last blog was heartbreaking, we must never take for granted those we love, they can be gone in an instant.
Thanks for the reminder.

“Death may end a life - but it doesn’t end a relationship”...
Your post was beautifully written - down to every honest detail.
It could only have been written by someone who truly and profoundly does love Lori. The love comes through loud and clear. So many people in this world - I’d say the majority, by far - never experience the depth of true love - they pretend they do, and try to convince themselves of it... but it’s usually just a wishful illusion. It is obvious that your love for Lori is real - and from your love for her, I have no doubt that her love for you was just as real. You can take some comfort in that you’ve both thus shared in a profound experience that is very rare on this Earth.
Reading your post had me putting myself in your place, losing the person I love like that, without even being able to say goodbye... or Thank You... And merely imagining it honestly had me crying my eyes out. In imagination, we maintain the safe security that it hasn’t truly happened. You don’t have that luxury. I would never tell you - or anyone in your position - that I know how you feel. I don’t. And, honestly, I can’t even truly imagine it - because unless one actually experiences it, one can only guess. Imagining it doesn’t even come close. I do know that it hurts tremendously, though - that is ever so clear in your words.
Thanks for writing what you wrote.
Hang in there.
“But be the favoring gale
That bears me on
And still doth fill my sail
When thou art gone.”
~ Henry Thoreau
