well the relegation round is finishing up in exciting fashion. I wonder if they held this at the END of the week, for the following year (Like they do at the Europeans), if it would be even more exciting.

Sorry for Team NT but BC really fought hard to get out

That's blatant copyright infringement to post the entire article from another site. I know you gave credit to the author, but that's still not right. You can post a tidbit from the article, and link to it.

But what idiotic TSN exec decided Mudder would do the feature games this year?

Could be worse. I'm in Thailand, where there is no ESPN of any kind to speak of and where the morning draws will be late prime time here (14 hours east of GP). Cheering for Chelsea Carey -- I think it's her year -- and it sounds as if she got off to a roaring start!

How was the Jones game so lopsided? Carey was up two in the 10th. That's a fairly close game, in my opinion. In the 10th it doesn't matter if it's a blank, Carey gets 8, or Jones gets 1. It all ends in the same thing, which is Carey winning. If Carey gave one in ten, which could have happened, would you suddenly say this was a tight and close game because of the final score? This is why people say you don't watch the games. One rock in the 10th doesn't make it a close or tight game.

Click on the Streaming Link at the top right on here, should be able to login to TSN with your cable account.

Yesterday I was blocked out due to a "security breach" on the curl zone site. After contacting the site they did something to allow me back in. Did this happen to others and accounts for the limit posters on this forum?

If you do not subscribe to tsn 2 then the streaming does not work even after signing in to your cable provider.
Bad decision to have telethon day on a day when only 1 draw is on main TSN station.

I don't subscribe to TSN2, but logged into my Shaw Go Wifi account, and the live streaming works fine.

Tsn does not allow streaming if not subscribed to the channel. But, why would one want to stream if it was on tv.

Why don't the commentators be honest and say that Homam curled badly to give away the provincial title. Also, Hanna had Jones beaten if she just made the right call and drew the 8 foot in 2005

Yes, on a former curling chat site, all posters talked about was how Hanna should have drawn for 2 instead of taking the advice of coach Bob and guarding. that has now morphed into Jones' legendary shot into history.
Homan curled her worst in the Ontario final...

IMO I don't see any improvement at all from Cheryl Bernard from when she started at TSN.. IMO she is too much of a "parroter" parroting what Russ Howard says and too often has to ask what the call is because maybe she isn't paying attention.. I think a few Sportsnet ladies ( Joan McCusker..Jennifer Jones..Melissa Soligo) are better although I think Jennifer and Melissa have a advantage when they do commentary on SPortSnet they are the only commentator where Cheryl has to share commentating duties with Russ Howard and gots lost in the shuffle because Russ talks non stop.. And I dont understand the Cathy Gauthier hate on this site.. She is a better commentator than Cheryl but again she too is by herself and has freedom

And regarding Russ Howard he is in a difficult spot commentating on Saskatchwan games and like I would expect he is not quite as critical as he would be if the Saskatchewan vice had a different last name than his

Ok gonna backtrack a bit.. I tried to give Cathy Gauthier a bit of love but how could she refer to Kristy NcDonald as Kristy Jenion? She has been Kristy NcDonald for what at least 3 years now.. And if what Gauthier is saying is true McDonald is stepping away from the game for a bit and Michelle Englot is taking over Kristys team

That seems to be an unnecessary knee-jerk reaction from Kristy due to the timing of this announcement. Granted I don't know her or anything about her personal life. But if she is calling it quits just because she lost another Manitoba final I think she will regret it in a few years. Her team is probably among the top 10 in Canada and she would have likely gotten a trials spot.
I wonder if Michelle Englot (who normally doesn't compete often outside of SK) will play in all the slams that this team has likely accumulated enough points to play in.
