I don't think it helps that John Morris is calling the game from the hack, and got Canada into a deep hole in the 3rd end with his suggestions.
Pat Simmon's draw behind staggered guards saved them from an ugly 4 ender.

Pat asked for more broom on that nose hit. John Morris doesn't really give him the extra broom. As expected, he needed more broom and the shot is blown. Sweden gets the 2.

Pat needs to get a backbone fast and tell John to STFU. If Pat wants more ice then make him move the broom instead of giving in to Morris.

Simmons should switch out his rocks and try to get some different karma going. Obviously what he has tried so far is not working. Maybe 40% so far and that just doesn't cut it.

I had a feeling this would happen....I wish Jacobs was there instead....at least he doesn't take any bull from anyone and calls his own game...win or lose...This is driving me crazy, so much so that I've turned it off....What a slaughter!!!! Shake and go home guys, you've blown it.

Its called reality. There's a big difference. This isn't the hockey game earlier today which Team Canada briefly made it interesting for the Americans! We have a 3rd who acts like he's still skipping. Minus Rycroft, they're not making very many shots. We have a skip who has the talent but he's no Superman tonight.
Edin is making everything.

You're not going to beat a skip who curls 100%, but my goodness Canada has put no pressure on Sweden. Talk about going out with a whimper. I just never saw this one coming. Congrats to Team Simmons on all they have accomplished, but they really laid an egg this afternoon from start to finish.

What a strange thing to say. Jacobs blew it when they didn't win the Brier. Plus, Team Jacobs played Edin and Team Sweden in 2013 Worlds and Edin beat them in the final.

I agree with several other posters on here by the way that John Morris really does have to learn to let the skip call the game. He's a great third in my opinion shot wise, but he's a real detriment with the constant chatter and advice when things aren't going well. You just don't help a struggling skip's confidence that way. If anything you keep quiet and let your skip make some good decisions to regain his confidence.

pat is 0-5 in playoffs at world
now the question is will he be 0-6 or 1-5 after tomorrow
most would say he will beat finland for sure but they barely got past finland in the round robin and if they curl like they are tonight tomorrow they will end up 4th again
