lets just see what happens at provincials. Think we can both agree that both teams will be in the playoff picture at the end and then whatever happens, happens.

i personally am hoping john finally gets that provincial win

All great athletes, in any sport, need to know when to call it quits gracefully. Pro athletes in most sports have that decision made for them by team owners.

The Wizard got beat by Mike Harris? Really???? Down to one life left for Howard. I guess TSN or Sportsnet will pick him up if he doesn't get out his region or win out in provincials

If he doesn't get out of regions, there is still the challenge round- so a few more lives.

In fairness, Harris is making everything today. He's looking really strong. Glenn's team has been shooting well.

corynn brown and tyler tardi both into the provincial junior finals in BC. no surprises that both are undefeated so far. should both win their finals both will be big favorites to win the canadian junior titles.

I think you might be forgetting g about Manitoba. I would consider Matty Dunstone as the overwhelming favorite for the junior title this year, if he can get by rival and defending champ Calvert. Either of those teams though, should one of them win MB, will be the HUGE favorite to take the title.

I would rank manitoba favorite to win if dunstone/calvert come through . Id have BC and Manitoba as the favorites with Northern ontario if horgan gets through, Saskatchewan if hersikorn wins and nova scotia being contenders.

womens side BC would be probably top favorite if corynn brown wins today but nova scotia wouldnt be far behind.

I hope Jake Walker fights thru a Challenge round.. was too bad he had to get knocked out of the regions by Glenn...

yeah, it was. i had jake walker as one of the possible qualifiers. agree, hopefully he gets through challenge round

as for glenn..well , his path looks good to qualify now. with who's in his way it'd be pretty shocking if he didnt

well unless something goes severely wrong in the 2nd half looks like it will be sarah daniels for british columbia. They are a strong team too but i dont think quite as strong as corynn brown. still though they should make the championship pool and maybe playoffs

howard v.s sheperd to qualify in regionals though. glenn should win that

Thumbs up BC Curling is alive and very .. well

16 year-old Sarah Daniels is in her first Canadian championship...
no big surprise.. one of her best curlers is a Van Osch..

Seems Like Corryn Brown just wasnt in the game ..it was over after 4 ends..

yeah, the womens wide of BC curling is extremely bright. with daniels, van osch and brown all coming up BC could soon be a curling power in the womens game if they all develop and stay in the game. to bad sivertson seems to have disappeared

i do feel bad for corynn and her team. they just werent there today

Glenn is up 5-0 after 5 ends against sheperd. he should be good to qualify for provincials..unless there's a collapse in the back half of the game. It just seems right that this team is in the provincial championship. You knew they werent going to miss 2 years in a row

Entertaining is a mild word for the BC game. McCrady is one hyperactive skip.

Glenn wins 7-4 and qualifies for provincials.

As for the BC final. it was an interesting and entertaining game. Tardi won, looked in control throughout really. That Matthew McCrady is a very interesting young men. He is a bundle of energy and i havent seen anyone get that worked up on the ice in a long time, you kind of hope he stays that way for his entire career because it was fun to watch. He has a bit of a temper on him to me thinks but you hope that he transitions into the mens game for the entertainment value of watching him play alone.
