Koe needs both Simmons and Thiessen to come back as Rycroft has said he is taking a year off.
You need 3 of the 4 team members to return. This begs the question though - who would be Team Canada; Morris or Jacobs?

being right once doesn't over ride all the other garb age you've posted here.
so if koe has to keep 3 members of his team then he cant hook up with kennedy and hebert next season.

I don't think this game was hard to predict. The 2 best teams at the Brier should meet in the final.

Is it 3/4 or 3/5 and King stays as fifth?

If that was the case, I would agree. However, working in both provinces does not qualify as skirting rules. Look it up.
Now, I ask, who will hold Morris accountable when he decides he has no dog in the fight for BC and won't work in BC. Hmmm?
Who will follow up on it? I expect, no one.
But keep in mind, if he is good to his word, he will work DURING THE 2013/2014 SEASON, NOT AFTER.
But then again...
Now, wait until he shows he only has loyalty to himself. At least, that is my prediction. If he shows me wrong, great. All the power to him. But let him earn it.

Actually Plan B for Morris would be getting into coaching and / or personal trainer. He did a lot for Jim Cotter's team.

While I can't comment on John's eligibility, I agree that he did a lot for the Cotter team, bringing them from potential middle of the pack material, to 1 game from the Canadian Championship.
The BC front end was every bit as good any other front end at the competition. Jim Cotter was also exceptional. Unfortunately his one bad game was the Final. I believe John was a large part of Jim's success as well as the growth of the front-enders on that team.
Unfortunately at this point in his career I am not sure he is a top 3 third in Canada. He is still a very good player, however, I would suggest perhaps not at a point where he make the shots that Ryan Fry or Pat Simmons can.
I think John can certainly mentor and train champions. I am sure he feels he has some good years in front of him as well, as a player. I just don't see any championships in that future.
Just my thoughts.

I figure Morris will hire himself out to relegated Provinces to help them play into the Brier and get enough wins to avoid the following years relegation. Who knows how many places john will represent in his career.

Now you are being dishonest. As predictable as this final was, you didn't predict it. In fact, when presented with a prediction that was correct on the final, you clearly disagreed.

Congrats to Koe. Fantastic game by them last night.
Ironic that they barely scraped into the Brier - qualifying out of the C bracket in Alberta, and coming back from being 3 down to Martin in the final (which is nearly impossible to do).

6. Completely new squad with uprooted and/or disgruntled curlers (ie. Nichols, Laing, Saville, Gunner, etc.)
Didn't John skip both Laing and Saville about a decade ago?

Yes. They won juniors with John and then went to the brier with him and Frans, finishing second.

The Solution!
Poor Johnny, just burning inside cuz he came up short....AGAIN.
Nice display of sportsmanship Johnny, u know it aint a crime to smile for the camera coming in 2nd.
& if the CCA can allow anyone to curl anywhere then why doesn't Morris help out Eddie MacKennzie's team from PEI. If he took them to victory that would indeed be a made-for-TV movie. Eddie was so close.

John Morris will kick Jim Cotter off the team this summer but keep his front end. They will then become unbeatable.

John has way better options playing out of AB. I doubt you will see him with any of this team next year.

Absolutely disgusted with Morris! The classy Manitoban team were all smiles and gracious in collecting their bronze medals. Did Morris even crack a smile while receiving his plaque and silver medal????? What a disgrace to sportsmanship! I really feel sorry for the rest of the team to have that as a so called leader of the team. Real class act!
