So by you including every team that is competing except leaving out only mine, I am guessing you think that we have no shot. Ouch.

My mistake & purely an accident (I tried to copy directly off of the USCA website onto here, but formatting got all messed up).
I have edited my original post and added your club.

I'm gonna root for Aksarben, simply because I curled there one year damned near 20 years ago back when it was a 2 sheet dedicated ice club in the horse barn next to the hockey rink attached to the racetrack...those were...umm...the days?

OK, I'll bite:
MEN'S
I've tried and tried picking OKC in hopes of scoring free appetizers at Witzke's bar, but no free apps so I'm off that angle. You gotta respect Hollywood and they have ice going right now. Bronze for them? Lansing is going to win some games. Silver?
Gimme Dallas/Fort Worth. Already a very good team, they now add player out of Canada. It looks like a lock, but nothing in curling is a lock. They could drink their way out of it. It might not be their week.
WOMEN'S
My gut tells me to look west for either Gamboa out of Hollywood (what was her maiden name?) and San Francisco's Walsh. I'm going with my brain this time and looking for the east coast transplant to bring the gold to Kalamazoo.

Wow, I really do not know a lot of the people on the teams this year.
Jen Gamboa, has been Gamboa as long as she has been curling. Is newer to skipping for the Bond Girls. Great bunch of ladies and curlers, they should win some games. As should the San Fran ladies and the ladies out of Dallas.
Pittsburgh on the men's side cannot be ignored. Nor the Cali teams.

Wow a lot of new names up there this year. As always should be a fun event and a chance to make new friends. Looking forward to it! The Tropicurl warm up is complete and we are ready to go.

20 years ago?! Weren't you a 5-under three years ago?
The Dykes committee may have some questions for you!

Curling years <> calendar years...
I actually considered applying for a waiver on counting that year in Nebraska for Dykes aging, since it was one season, 15 years before (and in a totally different era of curling...)...but I decided to just suck it up and only get 4 bites at the Dykes apple rather than 5...

Looks like a successful event was held in Iowa and congratulations to all the teams.
How many of the medalists had prior national level experience at either arena nationals or clubs or nationals?

On the women's side, the Gold medal SF backend (Walsh and Chapin) won Bronze at 2014 Arena Nationals.
One the men's side, the Gold medal DFW team returned 3 members (Myers, Knott, Sando) from the team that had gone 4-5 in round robin at 2015 club nationals. the Silver medal PGH skip (Robinson) won Bronze at 2014 Arena Nationals with an entirely different team.

...and Nick Meyers played third for Richie R at Men's Nationals and Bebee has Junior Nationals experience and...
Let's skip over all of that get to part where people gush about my pretty good predictions.

PS Kalamazoo ladies ran out of time in the semis? Naughty, naughty. Don't do it again. Coming home down-1-without means that you probably weren't going to win anyhow...but don't do it again...especially when I went out on a limb and picked you for the gold. No need to apologize...just don't do it again.
