This is actually a project I've been working on since November. I've been going out to the club with my friend and trying brushing experiments to try and actually measure what was happening when I brushed.

This is kinda related to the whole broomgate thing since my first two experiments were trying to do directional sweeping on quiet hits with IcePad vs legal brush. Unfortunately I couldn't get data clean enough to pick up whatever my brushing was doing so I decided to step back and see what I could find with straight distance sweeping.

This is the first of three distance experiments I've done, I haven't analyzed the other two in depth yet. If I can find enough icetime (and free time) I'd like to get back to gathering data on the directional sweeping if I think I can get good data by mastering the technique or generating clean data.

Note the data is very preliminary and doesn't show much effect, I'm not sure if that's because of club ice or my sweeping.
