Hopefully, the word will get out to the non-curling community. I can't see curlers getting too excited to watch a replay of H. McCormick play a meaningless game that happened two months ago, in which we all know the outcome.

Aw, Mr. Lucky pooping on an important step. Shame, shame. I'm not thrilled about the midnight listing, but poker didn't start out in prime time.

Now we'd all like curling to flood the airwaves in the sports calm of December and the sports void of post-Super Bowl/pre-March Madness. We'd like to see it live...on main networks...supported by advertisers that also become USCA sponsors.

As Dean Gemmell wrote in the latest issue of The Canadian Curling News, "It is a process, people. Stay positive."

This is a big step. It's a very important step and an expensive step. The WCF realizes this and stepped up with some serious money.

Yeah, Mr. Lucky, experienced curlers might not watch. We're not the target audience. Let's just hope, pray and promote so lots of people do watch. It's key.

I'll absolutely watch these, because while I have a cursory recollection of who won the event, I haven't seen any of these games
