In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) 6-1, then went on to lose 7-5 against Marie Christianson (St. John's, NL). Arsenault responded with a 5-4 win over Celina Thompson (Halifax, NS). Arsenault went on to lose 4-3 against Fay. Arsenault responded with a 5-3 win over Andrea Saulnier (Kentville, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Gibson's Cashspiel Championship title, Arsenault earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque.
