Debra Aubrey (Tempe, AZ) finished 3-6 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Aubrey defeated Ann Swisshelm (Detroit, MI) 7-5, then won 10-7 against Sarah Wruck (Kansas City, MO). Aubrey went on to lose 12-4 against Brenda Mason (Midland, MI). Aubrey lost 11-1 to Sydney Schmus (McFarland, WI). Aubrey lost 7-6 to Jamie Kraus (Duluth, MN). Aubrey lost 9-7 to Patricia Heffner (Plainfield, NJ). Aubrey lost 5-4 to Sara Gaum (Chicago, IL) where Aubrey responded with a 8-1 win over Cynthia Rhyner (McFarland, WI). Aubrey went on to lose 8-7 against Jayne Flinn-Burton (Tempe, AZ) in their final qualifying round match.
