Pfister lost 6-4 to Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Pfister lost 9-6 to Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Pfister earned 10.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 30th place overall with 63.999 total points. Pfister ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 48.555 points earned so far this season.
