yeah, that was pretty embarrassing. the skip even asked "where's our coach?".

Any predictions on winners today?
Take Ontario for the women and sticking with British Columbia for the men

I've not been able to watch juniors until yesterday and today. Just curious if the semis/finals are the same as the entire week of curling, take-out after take-out after take-out... Is that what junior curing is this year?

Ontario coach
This is the Ontario coach. Thank you for the comment about being "useless". Now the facts. The extra end had zero guards in play. We were down to the last two rocks for our team. i had been fighting a virus all week and biologically speaking, there was a strong need for me to find a men's room. The timeout was not expected. But it was fun to see how the team, like all week long, figured out the best shot. The team and Richard did not find me "useless". I guess the writer of the post has deeper insight into my worth than the players or Rich. The team invited me back for next year to apply more of my "uselessness". Rich is also asking for my return. Guess the team, families and supporters cannot see the obvious like the writer of the post.
LOL

Ontario coach - I felt compelled to respond. I thought your approach to coaching your athletes was wonderful. The support and positive reinforcement that you provided during each time out was admirable and I'm sure contributed considerably to the team's overall success.
Your comments during the last time out during the final were spot on and let the team know that they had done all they could given the situation at hand - after all, the odds, while not impossible, were not in their favour.
The class, graciousness, and maturity with which the team members accepted what I'm sure was one of the most difficult losses they have experienced speaks volumes about their coaching and was really great to see, especially from such young curlers.
I wish you and your team continued success.

What was interesting was how all the junior competitors in the stands were cheering on BC in the final. I didn't catch much of the live action, but I heard a few people rip the ON boys on the sportsmanship. Meh, kids will be kids and all that I guess.
Anyway, both finals were entertaining. Fairly well played and good sportsmanship all around. Good luck to our reps in Korea!

It wasn't just the ONT kids that were disrespectful. Richard Hart was an ass all week.
