They have barely any bigish game experience, you are talking about their tour success I assume, but none of those games have been as big as this, as most teams find out.
alina and nadine are both mixed double world champions. i know its not exactly the same thing but its still a world championship final scenario so while ot is not the same thing its still somewhat helpful in this situation.

TSN is streaming it and it is also on youtube (see link on cZ)

here is the link, select tsn2, click on the tiny x's, don't connect to any other link within it, wants to make you download updates, close out. works fine.

Point 2, jones is worst at calling line and weight, every end she says sorry jill, sorry guys, be quiet and let lawes call the line.

I'd say that winning their national title was the most valuable thing they have done in preparing them for this, also winning titles on the tour and placing well in a major, mixed is a very different game.

They know they've got JJ by the grippers. Just a matter of reasonable execution to complete the win.
I'm also impressed by Jones and Lawes. No real sign of panic and total stress. Almost too cool for school.
The nerves might not get to them today, but if they win this and make the final, they will most likely make an appearance then.

Which shot are they going to play, a freeze, or come under the front red?

I saw, but did they mean to sort of freeze, because they actually hit the front red up a bit more.

Minus a major Swiss watch meltdown, it looks like we will get another Jones vs Muirhead rematch for Bronze. Who would be more hungry for that 'ugly' medal? I can't see Jones beating the Russians.

Jennifer just doesn't have it right now. She had a 3 set up and she hits and rolls to the centre and ends up getting one. Then she's way too heavy on her final draw in 9 and her final draw in 10. She was about 59% on her draws. Unless she re-discovers her weight, she won't even get a third shot at the Swiss.
