Interesting Draw. MB and ON do not play each other until their next to last game on Friday. Might be a battle for 1-2.
ON finishes against the seniors and MB against QC

this funny development has led me to create a new game: "Bait Manitoba Legend!" let's just throw out a bunch of random facts and scenarios and see how far he runs with them before we pull the carpet from under his feet and reveal that *it was all fake!* Shoot, I be the man could fire off a top 20 list on just about any subject right off the top of his head...

THE PLAYOFFS ... THE CHAMPION!
R Homan (ont)
J Jones (mb)
H. Nedohwin (tc)
J Shumay (sk)
Shumay will oust in the 3/4 gm.
Homan will get the best of Jones in the 1/2 gm.
Experience will prevail in the semi with Jones outlasting Shumay.
THE CHAMPION: JONES VS HOMAN
I wish these two could play a best of 7 series ( said that at the beginning of the thread) but they cant so i flipped a coin and youth won.
TEAM HOMAN 2013 SCOTTIES CHAMPION.

Not sure where all this pro Homan prooganda is coming from? Wouldn't the former World Champs and Canadian Champs inthe filed have to be seeded above of a team with "potential?"

How the heck would I know I live in Ontario. The truth hurts your precious JJ needs a olympic gold medal and one more world championship to be in Schmirlers league even JJs biggest fan Ml acknowledges this

Probably more prosperous than those MB farms being eaten up by Winnipeg sprawl, ML.

Newbie here ,just joined ,have been reading for years, loved all the curling this week-end!It was awesome to have such great coverage.Proud to say that I am a huge JJ fan, could never understand the hate-on for her.Love her never give up attitude on the ice and her mental toughness. Her choice to bring in Katy Lawes is sure looking good now.Women's teams should not be lambasted for making team changes, curling is not like it was 20 or 30 years ago.Looking forward to the Scotties,I can only see 3 or 4 teams winning,Jones,Homan,Kelly Scott ,maybe Nedohin but I don't think she'll repeat.

So within the next 13 months even the haters admit she could be the best of all-time.

Don't forget the 5th end break and the 2 time outs the other team may use. Could be 5 ops to talk.

It should come down to Jones and Homan, but you never know .I think Homan has a great team, but they're young and if they get a bad break, they may not handle it as well as Jones or Kelly Scott, who have been around longer.Sometimes things don't always go your way and you have to be able to just keep grinding and go on and not let it bother you.

For televised games (i.e. feature game of RR or playoffs) coaches are allowed to talk to their teams during the 2.5 minute between end break for commercials as well.
Non televised games have 30 seconds between ends, televised games have 150 seconds between ends for commercials. Televised games (feature games) also have an 8 minute start delay for the pre game comments, which the non feature games do not.
If you watch carefully, you see a supervisor next to or near the skips. The TSN floor director signals the supervisor, who tells the skips to start after the pre game comments or commercials are over.

Ok ! So she may have "destroyed" the completion in Ontario..
Whe was the last Champion from Ontario?
I would go with the former champs first in no particular order.
Team m BC
Team Canada
Team MB
Team NS
While I do acknowledge "potential" my money would be on the proven first.
Although my heart goes with Team NS & Teams BC & Canada.. I' m putting my money on chemistry...

someone help out please:
http://nbcurling.com/index.htm
The same applies for the men's final 8's. Thanks

Rachel Homan is going to become one of the Best Women Curlers to ever play...She may win 10 Scotties before she is done. This is her first of many. Bye Bye J J..see ya. Your days of you and Jilly thinking you are the be all and end all of Canadian curling are done..thankfully.
Nedohin and her pretenders thankfully will fade away as well.
Shumay may be the surprise, anyone who can beat Lawton has to be pretty good.
Picks :
1-Homan Wins
2-Runner-up-Scott or Shumay
Possible Playoff Teams-MB and NS
