Ottawa's Rachel Homan (photo: Andrew Klaver, Curling Canada) drew the pin in the 10th end and stole the extra end to advance to Sunday's Final. Homan with Tracy Fleury at third, Emma Miskew and Sarah Wilkes on the front end started the game with hammer, scoring a single point in the first end. Jones with Karlee Burgess, Emily Zacharias and Lauren Lenentine blanked the second end, then scored 1 in the third end. Homan got two in the fourth end, then forced Jones into a single point to lead 3-2 at the half way point. Jones came out strong in the second half, bringing the pressure and getting steals in the sixth and eighth ends to hold a 4-3 lead into the ninth end. The ninth end was a blank, a missed opportunity for Jones to get the force on Homan, after Jennifer rolled out with her last stone. In the 10th end, big swings left both teams with opportunities to lock down the win, though it was Homan who put her last on the pin the tie the game. In the extra end, a rock from second Emma Miskew found itself on the back of the pin through-out the end, both teams again having chances to lock down the win, right down to Jennifer's last shot, a six-foot runback and stick to score, which blew past the Homan scoring point. Homan stole 2 for the 6-4 win. Homan will hold hammer in Sunday's final while Jones will take on Kate Cameron in the semifinal on Sunday afternoon.
