 Gimli's Kerri Einarson's second carousel ends before their last event of 2024. By Connor Simms, The #3 in the Year-to-Date (YTD) rankings, Kerri Einarson (Gimli), with Val Sweeting at third, Shannon Birchard and Krysten Karwacki on the front end, will be with their original lineup for the first time this season at the RBC Securities Western Showdown. Birchard will make her season debut after suffering a knee injury before the season started. Team Einerson: "We get started Thursday afternoon, and we're thrilled to have Shannon back in the lineup." Although Einarson has had multiple spares or has been playing with three, they have been great throughout the first half of the season. Playing in six events, only struggling to find a win in the Pointsbet Invitational, which is a single elimination event. They have not missed playoffs in their other five events, capturing the title in The Hearing Life Tour Challenge Tier 1 and the Saville Grand Prix. The triple knockout action will continue through Saturday evening, with the playoffs happening all day Sunday.
