To advance to the championship game, Reese-Hansen/Chester won 7-5 over Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska, MN) in the semifinals of the 2023 Alberta Curling Series Mixed Doubles - Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada; and won 6-5 over Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Alberta Curling Series Mixed Doubles - Event 1 in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;
 
Reese-Hansen/Chester finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. .
