Yannick Schwaller (Bern, SUI) qualified for the 2022 LGT World Men's Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 10-4 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). of the 2022 LGT World Men's Curling Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada;

Schwaller finished 6-6 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller lost 6-4 to Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then responded with a 8-7 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Schwaller went on to lose 10-6 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN). Schwaller responded with a 6-3 win over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Schwaller won 9-5 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE), then won 9-3 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) and 7-0 against Tobias Thune (Hvidovre, DEN). Schwaller went on to lose 7-4 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, USA). Schwaller lost 5-3 to Retornaz where Schwaller responded with a 9-7 win over Soo-Hyuk Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Schwaller went on to lose 10-3 against Sixten Totzek (Munich, GER). Schwaller lost 9-7 to Kyle Waddell (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Schwaller earned 30.116 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the LGT World Men's Curling Championship, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 202.488 total points.
