Richard Krell (Waterloo, ON) won 7-4 over Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON) in the Final of the Brantford Nissan Classic, held December 3 - 6, 2015 at the Brant Curling Club in Brantford, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Krell won 6-2 over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in the semifinals of the 2015 Brantford Nissan Classic in Brantford, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Krell finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Krell defeated Jon St. Denis (Stouffville, ON) 4-3, then went on to lose 8-2 against Jordan Chandler (Sudbury, NONT). Krell responded with a 6-3 win over Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON). Krell won 9-5 against Kirk Massey (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Brantford Nissan Classic Championship title, Krell earned 25.949 world rankings points along with the $3,150CDN first prize cheque, moving up 44 spots the World Ranking Standings into 83rd place overall with 50.666 total points. Krell ranks 63rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 45.978 points earned so far this season.
