McFarlane finished 4-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McFarlane defeated Sarah-Jane Sass (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then went on to lose 6-2 against Rhyme. McFarlane responded with a 11-2 win over Andie McDonald (Phoenix, AZ). McFarlane went on to lose 8-6 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB).
