Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) won 5-4 over Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Challenge, held September 26 - 28, 2025 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Calvert won 6-1 over Wisconsin's Caden Hebert in the semifinals of the 2025 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-0 over Chase Sinnett (Chaska, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

Calvert finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Manitoba's Hunter Dundas 1-0, then won 8-3 against Manitoba's Hayden Forrester and 6-4 against Wisconsin's Caden Hebert in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the MCT Challenge Championship title, Calvert earned 20.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 29th place overall with 116.625 total points.
