Takumi Maeda (Kitami, JPN) won 6-5 over Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi (Karuizawa, JPN) in the Final of the ARGO GRAPHICS Cup, held August 28 - 31, 2025 at the Kitami Curling Club in Kitami, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Maeda won 6-4 over Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2025 ARGO GRAPHICS Cup in Kitami, Japan, Japan;

Maeda finished 4-0 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Maeda defeated Sota Sato (Kitami, JPN) 6-3, then won 7-4 against Koki Ogiwara (Sapporo, JPN) and 12-1 against Minato Hayamizu (Karuizawa, JPN). Maeda won 8-4 against Kenji Takamatsu (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the ARGO GRAPHICS Cup Championship title, Maeda earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $9,332CDN first prize cheque. For week 6 of the event schedule, Maeda did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 28th place on the World Ranking Standings with 127.250 total points. Maeda ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.500 points earned so far this season.
