To advance to the championship game, Ruohonen won 6-1 over Evan Van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2025 Henderson Metal Fall Classic presented by Kioti Tractors of Ontario in Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-2 over Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Henderson Metal Fall Classic presented by Kioti Tractors of Ontario in Sault Ste.Marie, Ontario, Canada;
Ruohonen finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ruohonen defeated Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR) 9-1, then won 6-2 against Michael Fournier (Toronto, ON). Ruohonen went on to lose 7-6 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Ruohonen responded with a 6-2 win over Shinya Abe (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
