Hackner won 5-3 against Andrew Sinclair (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 7-1 against Rob Skinner (Thunder Bay, ON) and 6-2 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON). Hackner won 7-6 against Denis Malette (Thunder Bay, ON). Hackner went on to lose 8-2 against Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NO). Hackner responded with a 8-1 win over Claire Dubinsky (Thunder Bay, ON). Hackner won 6-3 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 6-1 against Ashley Palmer (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
