Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR) won 6-4 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic, held October 4 - 6, 2024 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kim won 7-2 over Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2024 MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-1 over Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
Kim finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Dundas 8-2, then won 6-4 against Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN) and 7-2 against McLeod. Kim won 10-4 against Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic Championship title, Kim earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Kim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
