Sasaki finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sasaki defeated Chelsea Taylor (Vancouver, BC) 5-1, then went on to lose 6-4 against Park. Sasaki responded with a 8-3 win over Rui Wang (Beijing, CHN). Sasaki won 10-4 against Steph Jackson-Baier (Victoria, BC). Sasaki went on to lose 5-4 against Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Sasaki earned 8.500 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic. For week 10 of the event schedule, Sasaki did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sasaki ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
