Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) won 5-4 over Daniel Casper (Chaska, MN) in the Final of the Curl Mesabi Classic, held November 17 - 19, 2023 at the Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, United States. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Horgan won 8-2 over Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) to advance to the championship game. of the 2023 Curl Mesabi Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota, United States; of the 2023 Curl Mesabi Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota, United States;

Horgan finished 4-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Greg Delich (Eveleth, MN) 10-0, then won 10-4 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) and 8-1 against Jed Brundidge (Chaska, MN). Horgan won 9-3 against Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curl Mesabi Classic Championship title, Horgan earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $5,480CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 105.149 total points.
