To advance to the championship game, Schneider won 5-4 over Jeff Richard (Kelowna, BC) in the semifinals of the 2023 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 5-4 over Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) in the quarterfinals.

Schneider finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schneider lost 7-3 to Pierce, then responded with a 7-4 win over Tyler Orme (Vernon, BC). Schneider went on to lose 5-3 against Jongduk Park (Gangwon, KOR). Schneider responded with a 6-5 win over Qiang Zou (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Schneider take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize. Schneider move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of -15.895 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 27th overall with 128.559 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Schneider ranks 28th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 39.625 points earned so far this season.
