Peterson finished 3-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Emma Jensen (Winnipeg, MB) 8-4, then went on to lose 8-4 against Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg , MB). Peterson responded with a 9-7 win over Walter. Peterson won 6-4 against Terry Ursel (Neepawa, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Peterson ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.875 points earned so far this season.
