James Craik (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2022 Euro Super Series playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA).

Craik finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) 8-5, then went on to lose 8-4 against John Shuster (Duluth, MN). Craik lost 7-5 to Kyle Waddell (Glasgow, SCO) where Craik responded with a 10-3 win over ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR). Craik won 4-3 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Craik earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Euro Super Series, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 35th place overall with 66.785 total points. Craik ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.750 points earned so far this season.
