Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) won 9-3 over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the Final of the Euro Super Series, held August 25 - 28, 2022 in Stirling, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Retornaz won 6-2 over Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2022 Euro Super Series in Stirling, Scotland; and won 6-4 over James Craik (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals.

Retornaz finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Retornaz defeated Jack Strawhorn (Dumfries, SCO) 6-1, then won 9-2 against Kyle Waddell (Glasgow, SCO) and 6-5 against John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.
