To advance to the championship game, St-Georges/Asselin won 5-4 over Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec; and won 7-6 over Veronique Bouchard/Jean-Francois Charest (Saguenay, QC) in the quarterfinals.
St-Georges/Asselin finished 4-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, St-Georges/Asselin defeated Kelly Tremblay/Pierre Lanoue (Saguenay, QC) 7-1, then won 7-5 against Edith Cottenoir/Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) and 7-1 against Dany Roy/Bruno Sonier (Quebec, QC). St-Georges/Asselin won 7-4 against Jones/Laing in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Summer Series, St-Georges/Asselin take home 30.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, remaining in 548th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 103.868 total points.
