To advance to the championship game, Homan won 5-3 over Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Prism Flow Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 6-3 over Jessie Hunkin (Spruce Grove, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Prism Flow Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta;
Homan finished 3-0 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Amber Holland (Regina, SK) 7-5, then won 8-7 against Peterson to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 7-4 against Hunkin to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Prism Flow Red Deer Curling Classic Championship title, Homan earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. Homan move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 50.625 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 3rd overall with 327.969 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Homan ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 185.750 points earned so far this season.
