Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) lost 6-5 to Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the Final of the WFG Masters, held December 6 - 11, 2022 in Oakville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 5-3 over Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the semifinals   of the 2022 WFG Masters in Oakville, Ontario; and won 5-2 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2022 WFG Masters in Oakville, Ontario; 
 
Homan finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) 8-7, then won 6-2 against Gim and 7-5 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI). Homan won 7-2 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the WFG Masters, Homan take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize. Homan move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 19.445 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 347.414 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 240.750 points earned so far this season.
